While about 15,500 seats are held by season tickets members, the club will release several thousand single match tickets for home games. Plus, season ticket members sell their own tickets to individual games during the season.

Beware: just like in previous years, all home games will sell out this season. The club holds the longest active sellout streak in MLS and will surely fill the 20,738-seat stadium for every home match again this season.

But don’t despair, you can get your hands on some good seats in 2024 through SeatGeek. (Be sure to use our code CAPCITYSOCCER for $20 off your first purchase.)

Austin FC kicks off its fourth season with its home opener on Saturday, Feb. 24 against Minnesota.

The Verde’s home matches against Philadelphia on Saturday, March 16 and NYCFC on Saturday, July 6 will mark the first time Austin FC has faced each of those opponents in Club history.

The club will again face in-state rivals Houston and Dallas a total of three times this season—FC Dallas once at home (March 30) and Houston Dynamo twice (May 15 & Sept. 21).

If you can’t make it in person, you can still watch all ATXFC matches via MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.

No matter which home game(s) you go to this season rest assured you’ll have a good time. Win or lose, fans rave about the matchday atmosphere at Q2 Stadium.

Picking which home game to attend is a personal preference. Maybe you have friends and family from one of these cities or lived there yourself.

Here are five home games we’ve circled on our calendar:

  • Minnesota United (Feb. 24, 7:30pm)—first game of the season and a chance to see Austin FC’s newly-signed players in action.
  • St. Louis (March 9, 7:30pm)—last year’s 3-2 loss set an ominous tone for the season, especially when an early injury to Julio Cascante sent Kipp Keller to man the back line.
  • Philadelphia Union (March 16, 7:30pm)—first-ever match against this Eastern Conference side will give fans an early barometer of where Austin stands against the MLS elite.
  • FC Dallas (March 30, 7:30pm)—this early rivalry game will ensure an amped-up crowd
  • NYCFC (July 6, 7:30pm)—another inaugural matchup for Austin where both teams are sure to be hungry after both failed to make the playoffs in 2023.

Depending on the match, ticket prices for a single seat can vary from approximately $30 for a GA Supporter ticket to $1,500+ for a Field Seat (next to the team bench).

GA Supporter seats (101-105) are generally the least expensive and offer a unique experience to be among Austin FC Supporter Groups to stand, chant, and sing throughout the match—right in the thick of the action with La Murga, Verde smoke, flags, and beer showers.

Some of the most expensive seats (1-10, 109-116, 132), located mostly midfield on the lower level, offer the best views in Q2 as well as an all-inclusive club space where food, beer and wine are included in the ticket price.

North end seats (120-127) put you right among the player celebration if Austin scores on the North goal. You’ll also be up close with some of the spouses and partners of Austin FC players. Another bonus is that the Beer Hall and Verde Store are right behind you.

Know before you go: seats on the West side of Q2 Stadium will be shadier before the sun goes down, which can be after 9 pm in the summer months.

This may sound cliché, but you really can’t go wrong with any seats at Q2 Stadium, except for one caveat—avoid section 228 if possible. These are mostly designated away seats for fans of the visiting team and you may be subjected to opposing chants and drums the entire match.
