Austin FC Expansion Draft Set

MLS recently announced that Austin FC will participate in the MLS Expansion Draft on December 15. The club will select five players from a list provided by MLS the day before. Landon and Jeremiah discussed the rules of the draft and made a few predictions on the types of players we will end up with.

Austin FC Jersey Launch

After dropping hints via video over the last couple weeks, the club officially announced that the first jersey would be available on November 18. Further details came out after the show was recorded and we got our first peak at the club’s merch bus.

2021 Season Pushed Back?

Up until recently, it appeared that MLS would delay the start of the 2021 season to maximize the opportunity for stadiums full of fans. However, news recently came out indicating that the season will start as scheduled in early March, with the crowded international calendar bearing much of the blame.

Stadium Construction Updates

Austin FC released an extensive behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium via video and also hosted the first media day in months. Several news stations and other outlets (including our friend Chris Bils) were in attendance. The guys shared some personal highlights from the tour.

MLS Playoff Preview with Phil West

Phil West joined the show to talk through the MLS Playoffs in the weirdest of all seasons. Both Landon and Phil projected Philadelphia to win it all, while Jeremiah reserved the right to make his pick after the playoffs are over.
