New season, new numbers for Austin FC players – CAPITAL CITY SOCCER
Austin FC released the squad numbers for the 2022 season and there were some big changes.
Moussa Djitté and Sebastián Driussi switched to No. 2 and No. 7, respectively. Brad Stuver is fittingly now No. 1. Even Dani Pereira and Žan Kolmanič changed numbers.
Djitté switching from No. 99 to No. 2 may be the hardest for us to swallow.

El Tree’s offseason signings also all got their new kit numbers: Ruben Gabrielsen (No. 4), Jhojan Valencia (No. 5), Damian Las (No. 12), Ethan Finlay (No. 13), Kipp Keller (No. 15), and Maxi Urruti (No. 37).
Not going to lie, we’ll be looking for a new No. 7 Driussi jersey. As of writing this, they’re still selling Driussi’s No. 25 shirt. But, we expect to see brand new 2022 Verde and Black gear for sale on the site any day now.
