Sebastian Driussi switches jersey number for 2023 – CAPITAL CITY SOCCER

Austin FC superstar Sebastián Driussi swapped his jersey for No. 10 and we love it!

No one deserves to don the coveted number 10 more than Driussi after an MVP-caliber season in 2022, tallying 22 goals and seven assists in the regular season. Ten was made available after its prior owner, Cecilio Domínguez, was booted from the club last summer.

In a cheeky little video, the club announced the change for 2023 by spray painting the new number on the Austin FC mural at 4th St. & I-35.

Driussi’s number 10 jersey should be available for fans to purchase as soon as the club releases its much-anticipated new 2023 primary jersey before the first game of the season.

We noticed in training a couple other current players upgraded their jersey numbers for 2023. Emi Rigoni switched from No. 77 to No. 7 and Kipp Keller, former wearer of No. 15, took the No. 4.

New player Gyasi Zardes picked the No. 9—a number he repped for the U.S. Men’s National Team.
