For Verde viewing in 2024, it’s pretty simple. You can watch every single Austin FC match live on Apple TV.

If you hadn’t heard, Apple and Major League Soccer signed an exclusive deal to present all MLS matches around the world for 10 years on the Apple TV app, beginning in 2023.

Apple TV’s MLS Season Pass is a subscription streaming service that lets you watch the matches on any of your devices—smart TVs, phones, laptops, or other Apple devices iOS 16.2 or later. The cost is $13 a month ($79 for the season) if you’re already a subscriber to Apple TV. If you don’t have Apple TV, you can pick up MLS Season Pass on its own for $15 a month ($99 for the season).

If you’re an Austin FC season ticket holder (Oak Collective Member) you get one FREE subscription to MLS Season Pass per account (not seat). You should have received a code by email in February to access the pass.

This year, T-Mobile and Metro customers won’t get MLS Season Pass on Apple TV for free, like it was in 2023.

Yes. During the season Apple will make several MLS matches available free every week without signing up for MLS Season Pass. Check listings every match week to see which will be available for free.

Thankfully, Austin FC has one of the best media teams in the biz. Besides the matches, you’ll find behind-the-scenes content on the app created by this talented local crew, including player profiles, fan rituals, and key moments in club history.

Also, MLS Season Pass will give Austin FC fans access to:

  • MLS Playoff matches
  • “MLS 360” live whip-around show
  • “MLS Countdown” pregame show
  • “MLS Wrap-Up” recap show
  • Past matches—the full 90′ or 4-minute recaps
  • Leagues Cup
  • MLS Next (Austin FC II)

CONCACAF Champions League matches will not be aired on Apple TV. FOX holds the rights to broadcast these games.

Besides every match being streamed on Apple TV+, four Austin FC regular season games are scheduled to be broadcast on TV nationally on FOX or FS1 this season. Games are broadcast in 1080p HD and feature Dolby 5.1 sound.

2024 Austin FC Apple TV schedule

Local broadcast crews are out with the new Apple TV deal, so we won’t hear the dulcet tones of Adrian Healey and Mike Lahoud. Instead, Apple and MLS have lined up national broadcast crews that will present commentary to fans in English and Spanish; Canadian clubs will have the option of French. Play-by-play announcers and analysts were paired before the season started.

New match-analyst additions in 2024 include Jalil Anibaba, Warren Barton, Jesús Bracamontes and Daniel Chapela. The play-by-play team adds hometown voices including Nate Bukaty, Neil Sika, and Joe Tolleson in English – plus John Laguna and Jesús Acosta in Spanish.

If the national broadcast crew doesn’t turn you on, you can also switch to a local English radio broadcast available on MLS Season Pass through a dropdown menu option, which is synced to the match.

The club’s official radio broadcast partners, iHeart Radio’s KASE-FM (Alt 97.5) and TUDN Radio Austin (104.3-HD2), will air the matches in 2024. Lincoln Rose will again provide English language radio play-by-play and Ignacio Araujo will be the new play-by-play Spanish radio announcer this season.
